Healthy Recipe Easy Ham and Mushroom Rice Pilaf

Try this Healthy recipe Easy Ham and Mushroom Rice Pilaf at your home. That you could easily cook it on your regular rice cooker.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup minced onions
  • 1/2 cup diced ham
  • 1/2 cup diced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cups beef or chicken stock
  • bay leaf
  • salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Using the pot from the rice cooker, sauté minced onions, 1/2 cup diced ham, and 1/2 cup diced mushrooms in 2 tablespoons butter.
  2. Add 2 cups white, long-grain rice. Mix until rice is well coated with butter.
  3. Add 3 cups beef or chicken stock, a bay leaf, and salt and pepper. Place pot in rice cooker. Cover. Continue cooking in the rice cooker as you would cook plain rice.
