Eye Cataract

eye cataract

Nothing is more feared among elderly people than the possibility of going blind. Although there are many different reasons for losing the gift of sight, one of the most frequent causes is cataract.

In this condition, the lens of the eye becomes cloudy and hazy, so that the light is prevented from passing through to the retina at the back of the eyeball. Cataracts are sometimes seen in premature babies, or they may form later as heredity disease of the eye.
